Happy with your recording? Make it final right away instead of waiting out the week.
Every new recording gets 7 days to be re-recorded, so nobody has to get it perfect on the first try. Seal It Now lets you skip the rest of that window and lock in the recording the moment you are happy with it, rather than waiting for the seven days to run out on their own.
A quick reminder about the 7-day window
The countdown starts the first time you save a recording on a sticker. If you do nothing else, it seals on its own seven days later. See Re-record for the full details on that window and how to use it.
What sealing means
- The recording becomes permanent. It can no longer be replaced with a new take.
- It still plays for anyone who scans the sticker or opens the link.
- It can still be downloaded, any time.
- It can still be deleted through your account. Deleting is a separate, permanent action of its own and cannot be undone.
Sealing early
- Open My recordings.
- Find the recording. While it is still open to re-record, you will see “Happy with it?” and a “Seal this recording” button.
- Tap it, then confirm with “Seal it for good.” It seals immediately, no need to wait for the seven days to pass.
This cannot be undone
Sealing early puts the recording in exactly the same final state as the automatic 7-day seal. Once you confirm, there is no changing your mind and no support request that reverses it, which is why it sits behind a confirmation with “Not yet” as the easy way out. This is described in Section 2 of our Terms of Service.
