You have 7 days from your first save to replace the recording with a new take.

When the clock starts

The countdown begins the first time you successfully save a recording on a sticker. If you saved at 2:15 PM on a Tuesday, the sticker seals at 2:15 PM the following Tuesday.

How to re-record

  • Open My recordings.
  • Find the sticker. Its status will read “N days left to re-record.”
  • Click Re-record. Start fresh or modify any section.
  • When you save, the new take replaces the old one on the same QR.

You’ll get a reminder

24 hours before the sticker seals, we send an email reminder: “Your story seals tomorrow.”

What sealing means

  • The recording is permanent. You cannot replace it with a new take.
  • You can still download a copy anytime.
  • You can still delete the recording (the QR will show a “no recording” page). Deleting is irreversible.
  • You can still set or change a trusted contact.
