Place the sticker inside the front cover of the book you choose, one you already own or one you’re giving as a gift. It takes seconds.
There’s nothing to charge, pair, or set up. The sticker has no battery and needs no power. It just needs to be stuck down.

Open your phone or tablet’s camera, scan the code, and start recording. You get up to 30 minutes of reading, plus a short hello and goodbye. That is enough for a full picture book or a few chapters.
No app to download, no password to remember. Pause anytime and redo just the last part. You also have 7 days to re-record before it seals.

Works on the devices you already have
Listening asks almost nothing: almost any phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a browser can scan and play. Recording works on devices from the last several years, including:
- iPhone
- Android
- Tablets
- Chromebooks
Not sure about an older device? Scan and listen works almost everywhere, and the recorder will tell you right away if a device is too old to record.
No battery to die
Recordable books run on batteries and work with one book. When the battery dies, the recording can go with it.
Lullavo works differently. There is no battery and no chip in the sticker. Every recording is backed up each night to a separate, secure place, and you can download the original any time. The book can be dropped, outgrown, or passed down, and the recording stays exactly where it was left.
More than one voice, in the same book
A book isn’t limited to one reader. Pass the phone and take turns, so Mom, Dad, and a grandparent can all read the same book on one sticker. Everyone shares the same 30 minutes. You can also invite someone far away to record.
The 7-day window, explained simply
After your first save, you have 7 days to change your mind. Re-record it or fix a flub. After 7 days, the recording seals and stays that way, so the voice you hear later is the one that was meant to stay.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download an app?
No. Recording and listening both happen through your device’s camera and browser.
Is my recording private?
Yes. Recordings are private by default. They never show up in search, and we never sell them, use them in ads, or use them to train AI.
What happens if Lullavo ever shuts down?
Our Continuity Pledge promises at least 90 days’ notice, and downloading keeps working the whole time, so your recordings stay yours.
Can I record more than once?
Yes, for 7 days after your first save. After that, the recording seals.
Can grandparents, parents, and other family members all record in the same book?
Yes. Pass the phone and take turns reading on one sticker, or give each person their own sticker.
What if a phone or tablet dies?
The recording doesn’t live on your device or inside the book, so a dead phone or a broken tablet changes nothing. Scan the sticker with another device and it plays. Every recording is backed up each night, and you can download your own copy any time.
